2011 WebAward Goes to Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens

Congratulations to our client, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, for winning a 2011 WebAward for Non-Profit Standard of Excellence! The SankyNet team developed and created CCBQ's website redesign and is thrilled that CCBQ is being recognized for its fresh online presence.

Each WebAward entry is reviewed by three or more expert judges who are not told who entered the site or what category it was entered into. Acting as the site's target user, each judge scores on seven criteria, including design, innovation, content, interactivity, and ease of use.

After putting careful thought into the site architecture and navigability during the website redesign process, we were pleased to see that the user experience was an overwhelmingly positive one for the judges. One commented that the content was "well organized...everything is easily navigated. Some good accents on the community action items, and easily found donation spaces." The judge also added that CCBQ's site shows "good use of social networking outlet integration."

Again, our congratulations go to Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens for this exciting achievement only months after the launch of its new website.
