Every year on September 28th, Freedom from Hunger celebrates the brave women around the world who take part in their microfinance and education programs. Now in its sixth year, Freedom from Hunger Day kicks off a matching gift fundraising campaign as well as a month long promotion of the impact of microfinance on ending world hunger.
